
NEO event day schedule
The 2026 National Economics Olympiad (NEO) is a full-day event intended to challenge, teach and promote collaboration for all participants. The day involves a two-hour competition, presentations, workshops, and plenty of opportunities to network with sponsors and fellow participants.

Opening Ceremony: Welcome to NEO

A brief welcome for participants, including details about the day and the competition. Then, groups will make their way to their allocated rooms across the Erasmus University Campus.

Competition
Various buildings, Erasmus University Rotterdam
The flagship event - the economics problem-solving competition! Students will be allocated to rooms for the duration of the challenge, with volunteers available to answer any questions.

Lunch will be provided to the Participants at Theil! There are also various food spots, such as the Erasmus Food Plaza, Erasmus Pavilion, Sports Cafe, Manderville Cafe (4th floor), and a Spar on campus if you wish to eat something else!
